Title: Music from various sources
Post by: OSH on May 17, 2019, 01:17:49 am
Hi!
I know, I can play music from different sources, the only thing which I have to do is to rename files like in original XCOM. But: I want to hear music from three (actually four) different platforms simultaneously. I explain: there are four different OST for X-COM: PC, Amiga (ECS and AGA version) and PSX. What I want is, when I see geoscape screen I hear for example first geoscape music from PC version, then from Amiga ECS, AGA, and PSX. When I go on the mission, I hear tactical music from Amiga, then PC and so on. Is this even possible? Or can be added such functionality?

You can have unlimited number of geoscape and battlecape tracks.

They however do not shuffle automatically during a single mission.
So in the first mission you would hear one track, in second mission another track, etc.

PS: in OXCE, there is a jukebox, where you can change current track manually... but still no auto-shuffle

Ok, this is enough for me. But how should I name these files, if in wiki is described, I have to use specific file names (GMGEO1, GMGEO2, GMGEO3, GMGEO4 and so on)? The next track should be GMGEO5 or something else?
