So many years ago, on the Bay 12 forums, someone was playing (?) / doing a Lets-Play of X-Pony.

Of course,  it wasn't real.

Now there's open XCom.

Any chance that we could actually get an X-Pony mod?

As described, it wasn't just a re-skin -- your pegasi are your interceptors (not your interceptor pilots), and only unicorns have ranged attacks at the beginning of the game. (Of course, earth ponies would have a great hand-to-hand attack and can strike behind them.)

Personally, i dont understand this Pony fetish people have but YES, you can have it as long as your prepared to put the effort into building it :P
