Title: No sound after launching the app for the second time

Hi everyone.

I saw that there were some thread about sound entirely gone from the game, but none of these other threads described a problem similar to mine.

I recently bought the game on Steam and the Steam version works fine, even now. However, OpenXCOM worked fine only with the first launch. Having ran the application for the second time, sound was entirely gone. I tried using every single option for sound and even played around with the files, but to no avail.

Has somebody else ever stumbled upon such a problem? Is there some kind of a solution?

I would be grateful for some help.

Can you find and upload your options.cfg file please?
And also maybe openxcom.log file.

PS: no, I haven't heard about such issue yet

Hi! I appreciate your swift response.

Problem solved. I have taken a look at the files you requested and as there was nothing out of the ordinary I took a look at the volume mixer. For some reason the game was muted.
