If you're looking for just a bunch of extra alien weapons / research, chaosshade's Arsenal Expanded is nice: https://openxcom.mod.io/arsenal-expanded

Yeah, weebly.com is creepy.
MapView was resurrected lately: https://openxcom.org/forum/index.php/topic,1321.msg104390.html (https://openxcom.org/forum/index.php/topic,1321.msg104390.html)

according to a couple of third party site scanners, your site has indeed been hacked, luke.
i've redacted the link for the time being

It's the original mod site creator ;D welcome back.
Mod tools have mostly been the same, though MapView's got some updates. Maybe it's time to start updating those how-to guides and putting them in the new mod site: https://openxcom.mod.io/guides

looking into my doggy Mod site now, i have de-activated it whilst i look.

Once i get my head around all the tools again i might do this. After banging my head against a wall tracking ruleset errors, i think we need some tutorial on modding these also.

Luke, have you even played Final Mod Pack in its final iteration? It went through many important changes, even up towards the end of development. If you played an older version, you might give it another shot. If nothing else, it's a highly diverse mod pack which probably has plenty of elements you've never seen.
I can provide some help with error reports. Usually they point to a part of the ruleset, but if you ever get confused, tell me the error on Discord and I might be able to find it. I've gotten good at that. Now, when you get the dreaded segmentation fault error, it won't give you the slightest hint where it happened. These seem most commonly to come from changing map files, tilesets, and connected lists. It seems to happen when you rearrange a list of items, or change the size of the list. It helps to always check your work before you wrap up some map or tileset editing, so that when you get the segmentation fault you can narrow it down to your most recent work.
But if you need help with a segmentation fault, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
