Good day! There was such a problem: I use my own mod with new soldiers and with the latest version of the update it began to conflict. Previously, everything was fine. Could this be related to the new version of OXCE 5.1.?
Here is a piece of code with a problem:
- name: STR_MADE_X_GENOKRAD #создать генокрада
category: STR_ILLEGAL_ACTIVITES
requires:
- STR_X_GENOKRAD
time: 500
cost: 0
requiredItems:
STR_CHRYSSALID_TERRORIST: 1
STR_ALIEN_EMBRYO: 1
STR_MONEY_1000: 30
spawnedPersonType: STR_GENOKRADX
listOrder: 60018

I can't see anything wrong at a glance, but it would be better if you provided the whole mod.
Perhaps you could start a new thread for this? It looks fun! :)

Oh, I apologize, I did not indicate the essence of the error. At the download stage where the black screen is, the message “ERROR: Item STR_MADE_X_GENOKRAD not found?” Appears. I checked, I do not have an item with this name, only the name of the production.

Yes, the new OXCE is more strict with yaml validation. If it complains about STR_MADE_X_GENOKRAD not existing, then you must add this item.

How to do this, because I create a soldier and not a subject? ???
-
I checked the mod and apparently it is not even related to X-Com Files. ;) So I will move it to the general modding board.
-
The issue is the manufacturing projects must produce an item (or a craft), even if you just want to produce a soldier/engineer/scientist. If you don't have a producedItems tag, then the engine produces an item with the same name as the manufacturing project.

That is, now if I want to create a new soldier, do I need to add some object to it (for example, a soldier's badge ???)? :o

Well, the basis of the mod is still the X-com files. I just decided to add to them things that I lacked, such as the early missions of intercepting gangsters, or the shadow side of X-Com activities 8). There are still some crazy ideas borrowed from different mods. ::)

OK... Should I move it back to the X-Com Files board? Your call :)

What exactly does this mod do? :)

Well, I'll tell you a little, but I immediately warn you what the mod did for itself and did not plan to spread it. Mod works only with X-com files. Only Russian language. Worked well with the openxcom_xfiles_0.9.5.1 version. With the newer began to conflict, I will need to look for errors.
Of course, the mod adds new weapons, armor, transportation, research, etc. The mod also actively uses X-com resources for research and production. The mod adds the ability to perform interception missions almost from the very beginning of the game (in the original X-files with this problem) using hired transport against the cultists. And it is likely to get an early base attack from angry cultists (something like pirates). I am also interested in the dark side of X-com. There is a line of research on illegal activities, which allows to bypass the Council to buy smuggling, drugs, weapons, prostitutes and conduct illegal experiments on people and aliens.
I also develop the idea of "fraternity" inside X-com, a cell that is not subordinate to the Council. It is based on the Imperial Guard (X-Guard) and the Space Marines (Brotherhood X-com). All resources are taken from the Warhammer40K mod. That's basically all. I tried to keep my uploads in line with the spirit of the original X-com and X-com files.

Now works with openxcom_xfiles_0.9.6c version.

It actually sounds pretty intresting - I do not speak russian though so will not use it ;)
But maybe Solarius could incorporate some of things you done if he thinks they are in line with what he wants.
Good new content is always fun if you ask me.
