Title: Worth starting over?
Post by: JamTheDane on March 11, 2018, 02:22:43 pm
Hiya all. I have had a game running for quite a bit, was running on 99F.
But i  can see a lot of changes, is it worth starting over? Or try to upgrade my saves?

Wait 2-3 weeks with restarting until new version shows up.

It's still a good option to wait for the next release.
Aside form the newest game engine inplemented and the new content it's also questionable to update mid-campaign.

For my part, every time I updated during a running campaign (allready 12 months in and further) every new patch applied messes around with the mission spawning.
The moment the new month starts (and missions get sheduled) I encounter alot of old missions that stopped spawning.

Those easy missions are free xp and loot so kinda 'cheating' in some way.

Thanks for the tip! I thinks depends on new missions mostly; not on the items and enemies tht much. Other "depositions" from any user more?

Generally speaking, if an update can cause problems with earlier campaigns or requires some save adjustment, it is specified on release.

Thanks, I'll hold on till the next version. I started once on the old version where you started with the Bonniventura, so was VERY old, started over and was happy for that, almost a new game by then.
So if a new version is close, I'll be happy to wait :)
