Title: [TFTD] UFO Equipment mod - porting some ufo stuff into TFTD

Hey guys I created a small mod where I am porting a few "first alien war" (UFO Defense) equipment that may be useful in TFTD.

For now I only ported Flying Suit.
These suits are a re-vamped old tech made with Aqua Plastics and Zrbite instead of Alloys and Elerium113 . This makes them have a different cooler metallic look to them. Also since original Power Armor tech was designed mainly against plasma, they provide no special protection against sonic damage. Sonic damage is 1.0. All other stats are identical to original Flying Suit.

Note that this suit only flies on land . You will need latest nightly for this to work.

They have same cost and requirements as Magnetic ION Armor but use Zrbite and Aqua Plastics instead exactly same amount. Requires ION Armor to be researched first.

Very nice and useful for especially the first stage of a cruise/cargo ships.

Most of the long battles are on surface so maybe this Flying Suit can cut down some of the time spent fighting above water especially on cruise and cargo ships.

Considering that heavy armors are weak to laser you should make take 20% more gauss damage

You know, I'd go the UFO: Aftershock way: just dump a few plasmas and alien grenades in the general stores with no option to make more clips (no more elerium). So you technically have superior weapons straight away, but you can only use them on a couple missions, so you'll probably save them. Besides, plasma shouldn't work underwater and is limited to terrors.

I'd really like it if you could make it so that lasers could be purhased. They shouldn't work underwater, but the fact is they were made with pure earth tech and thus by TFTD should be for sale in any local gun store.

You can't make it so certain weapons only work above water... but you can make it so they work underwater, how annoying, huh?

Yep DPL's for underwater and blaster launcher's for above as I always missed the DPL's on the cruise/cargo ship missions.

*cackles*  Yes!  That would be great!  Certainly would make it more open... assuming you could shell the interior w/o trashing your own troops, lol.

Just tested your mod there as I'm going to play TFTD soon and in battle mode it works fine however anytime I access it's ufopaedia article I just get a black screen-see attached. Attached save is from latest nightly with no other mods than the above mentioned activated. Just activate debug and try to access the ufopaedia article to recreate situation.
