Title: playing openxcom in larger windows
Post by: moriarty on January 24, 2012, 11:37:35 pm
is it possible to play openxcom in a larger window? I'm not talking about increasing the playing field or anything, just making each pixel a 2x2 (or even 3x3) pixel square. direct upscaling. these new high-resolution-monitors don't really convey the original feeling when you're looking at a postcard-sized window ;)

Doesn't ALT-ENTER stretch it full screen , seams to work in ubuntu?

config file? I must be blind, because I looked and didn't find one.

ALT-ENTER toggles fullscreen, yes, but widescreen-stretched xcom looks kinda weird, plus I like the way it works when windowed: you can play it "casually", going in and out of the window at any time.

ah. I was wondering where that config file would be. so openxcom actually looks for a config file in these locations, and if it doesn't find one, it creates one at the default location for the given operating system? okay. yes, it works now. thank you!
