Are these even possible for UFO doors? I'm working on a mod and while everything is there, I don't get the animation, nor am I able to right click to open the door. Not sure if I've got something misconfigured or if it's just not possible in the game engine?
Modfiles attached for reference. I moved the north facing door inward to see if there was some kind of floor trigger. But so far no dice.

North and west outer walls are not walls, they are objects. In vanilla you couldn't even stand beside that wall outside. Doors are only REAL walls with ufo_door flag.

Yes, in the original a medium scout against a north map edge was impassable.

Seems like the tile placement was part of the issue. Doors were expecting to be wall items occupying the same square as the floor rather than an outer wall space. so instead of the outer wall being ------- it's more like ---___--- with the door being part of the inner section that's tied to the floor rather than a tile outside of the ship.

In any case, there's additional functionality adding WALL feature for outer BIGWALL object. And there is no functionality adding door flags processing for such "fake walls". It is possible though, in some distant future.
