Title: [WEAPON] Laser Sectopod
Post by: LouisdeFuines on March 24, 2014, 10:31:08 pm
Ok, I got the idead from the ufopaedia entry:

According to this, the Sectopod should be the only alien unit having lasers as weapons. With the help of warboy I give out a Sectopod-Mod, which has the Sectopod firing with lasers.

Edit:
Firesound for Laser has been added

So only the visual effect was changed? I'd suggest also changing the damage type to 4, so it does laser damage against possible laser resistance, and also if it accidentally hits another Sectopod...

    damageType: 4
    accuracyAuto: 50
    accuracySnap: 75
    accuracyAimed: 110
    tuAuto: 35
    tuSnap: 30
    tuAimed: 60
    battleType: 1
    fixedWeapon: true
    invWidth: 2
    invHeight: 3
    clipSize: -1
    bulletSprite: 8
    recover: false

Shouldn't you change the fireSound to 11 as well? (That's the Laser firing sound)

You`re absolutely right.

I knew the Sectopod had a laser weapon, but I didn't realize the UFOPaedia confirms it. I thought it was a bug.
