Title: [GRAPHICS] Chiko's Laser Weapons news Gfx

Hello,

My first attempt to play with OpenXcom graphics: an adaptation as a mod of the news graphics for the 3 original laser weapons (Pistol, Rifle, Heavy) by more homogeneous ones from Chiko.

No change to items cost nor stats.

This little mod is intended to be more easily installed/enabled/disabled than dealing with PCK replacement in original game data folder.

can I call them "Lasguns of Khorne"? :)
They look nice though. Crispy. If a bit, uh, colourful for Earth weapons.

Hi,

Yes, the red is a bit too ... "red".  ;D


I have some difficulty in making accurate color palette conversions between 16k-PNG and 256-palletized-GIF.

For these weapons, the result is too redish or too brownish, for now i can't manage to get good color


Maybe next release will be sligtly less red ...  ;)

Nice but plase, may update with a differen shape for the òaser rifle? It's seem quite similar to heavy laser, not that much difference, may I suggest a model similar to the this

Hi,

I'm actually very busy at work and at home.

I would have probably no computer/net access during holidays.

I try to keep myself updated with the forum and read all threads where i have already put something, but don't expect a new release before some time.

OK, thanks, take your time of course offline life is the most important thing!!  8)

Lastly, sry I forgot to mention before, also laser pistol is quite a copy of the plasma pistiol, only with different colors, may we get a new model such as this (taken from the internet, don't know who is the author)

Just added your mod to my current game of area 51 v0.93 but there seems to have been an error in the .rul file. My pc couldn't open: Resources/Chiko_Laser_Gfx//handob_008.gif, so I removed one of the / at the end of each handob line. I also added a metadata.yml file to the mod.
