Hello
I'm playing the "Xcom Files" mod and my save game is crashing (everytime), but first let me congratulate you for such an amazing mod. I loved the classic X-Com Enemy Unknown and this mod is incredible :)
So anyway I do a lot of save game editing (little patience!) and something must be wrong with my latest save game. I've included it, as well as the openxcom log. The error is easy to reproduce as it happens every time I load the save game and fast forward the time a bit.
Please help as I can't live without this game :P
Cheers,
Pipanni

Yes, your save is corrupted.
Load an earlier one and continue from there.

Thanks, but is there no way to rescue this save game? Can I use an uncorrupt tool on it? ;)

Theoretically yes, ever modder has a Golden Button, which is used to spontaneously generate content (graphics, code etc.) and design ideas... And of course to fix anything that's broken. We just pretend we do it all by hand, so we can bum around. ;D
Developers probably have a Platinum Button, which does the same and more.

;D
Ok, nice one, but how do you guys know that the save file is corrupted? Isn't there any bad code that can be removed?
I just tried my previous save (an auto-battlescape) and it also crashes at the same point (back to geoscape, after a while). Help!

The "funds" array is too long, remove the last line.
And stop cheating.

It worked! A thousand thanks, Meridian.
And by the way I was trying to return the money I had "borrowed" earlier ;D
Cheers and keep up the good work :)
