Title: Loading Xcom original games

Hi!

I played Xcom original for a while and got far in the game. How can I load that game in OpenXcom to continue it? At the loading screen, when I chose "original xcom" the saved games don't show up... Thanks!

You need to move those original saves into the same folder where openxcom saves its own.

Also, only geoscape saves will work, battlescape saves are not supported.

Hi!

Thanks for the answer!

I patched UFO1 with those additional folders, then copied all the files and folders from the original UFO folder (including GAME_1, GAME_2, etc folders ) into the OpenXcom/UFO folder, but I still don't see the games showing up when I click on Xcom original saves... I had both geoscape and battlescape saves... I am using the 1031 build.. Any ideas what shall I try next?

OpenXcom does not save its own saves into OpenXcom/UFO.

You need to copy it into the same folder as where OpenXcom saves are.
