Title: [minimod] Weapon ranges displayed in Ufopaedia (Codex)
Post by: Scamps on August 15, 2022, 12:24:17 pm
See title and attached screnshot.

REQUIRES NIGHTLY OpenXcom, get here: https://lxnt.wtf/oxem/#/Extended

A tiny mod made for personal use, cause the sheer number of bolter/lasgun patterns (often with same pictures) makes it hard to compare guns.
Post your opinion, whether you find it useful.

Should work for vanilla and other mods, in metadata.yml change "master: 40k" to "master: xcom1" or whatever you need. Though I personally never felt this need in other mods :-)
Only EN-US and RU are currently supported. Can be easily extended, if there is need.

Very nice thanks for this fun mod. Just make OXC a little better.

Thank you!  This greatly help in X-Com Files quickly identify the useful weapons amongst all the junk.

Would you mind posting this on the openxcom mods page?

I made it for personal use with no intent of providing support :)
If anyone wants, they can publish it anywhere and/or modify however they wish, just put their name as author.
It is a 10 lines mod really, no point of licensing or anything.
