Title: RUN and SIDE-WALK works?
Post by: QWERTY128BITS on May 07, 2022, 03:56:54 am
I read in this wiki ---/www.ufopaedia.org/index.php/Hidden_Features_(OpenXcom)
Quote:
"Battlescape
..
Ctrl-click a location makes a soldier run; Running Units move at 75% Time Unit Cost for 150% Energy cost."
Ctrl-click a square adjacent to a soldier that is perpendicular their current facing to have them 'sidestep'; costs 5 TU instead of 4 + facing changes."
"

This two things works? I try but I do not see the right result.

Thanks

Have you enabled the "Alternate movement methods" option?

NICE. How "strafing" works?
Is Strafing the "side-walk" funcionality"?

Plus, the help description in options is a lite confuse. Like a turret stuff, not soldier.
Maybe something like "Enables soldier strafing and running. Also independent tank turret moviment when holding CTRL."

Thanks for the help.
