In principle yes. But OXCE has some extra logic checks, so some mods might work on vanilla due to more relaxed rules, but not on OXCE since it detects some inconsistency (like an alien unit having a captured version, but no way to capture it, etc.) It would be a rare case, though.

It may not actually be all that rare. When some of these checks came out, it was difficult to find large mods that didn't already fail them. But several if not most of those have been updated by now.

Try it and see, and if it crashes, report it. If it doesn't crash on startup, it'll generally work fine. If you don't want to wait for an update, get the version of OXC or OXCE that it was designed for and then it should work.

If you can't tell what version it was made for, then anything not updated in recent years should run fine on OXCE 6.0.

I use very old Mods in OCXE.
The problems I'm having are with the Base facilities (number of floors) and with the bodies of new aliens/soldiers/civilians...

I can't think of a reason why such things would work on OXC and not OXCE, but without actual code nobody can say for sure.
