Title: Configurable number of bullets in Aimed/Snap/Auto
Post by: TopCat on February 27, 2013, 11:28:51 am
Currently number of bullests is hardcoded globaly as 1 : aim, 1 snap and 3 for auto shots.

Making it configurable via rulesets for each weapon separatly may be more better for mods.

I like this idea. The autocannon can then fire 10 shots in autofire mode, and would really feel like a minigun :)

+1, absolutely. this should be configurable for different firing modes separately, I think: most automatic rifles have "single / short burst / full auto" settings, so it would make sense to allow aimed / single / 3-shot / 10-shot or something like that.

I like this idea also, allows for differentiating weapons.

Also i do think that accuracy would be greatly decrease for everything after the first shot. If anyone has fire a full auto gun will know that from the second shot on is all about luck :)

Would it be possible to implement something like JA2 1.13, where you can right click to add additional bullets to a burst, and drag to draw a path to sweep the gun? I know ufo extender has something like that.
