I was semi-suggesting this before, but I think it's not a good idea. I know several computer mice with a "nervous" (hyper-sensitive) mouse wheel that might cause trouble in this. Right now, you can use tab to switch to next soldier and shift to switch to previous, I think that's perfect.

Ah ok, I forgot about the shortcuts. Tab is even better.
