Hello,
In the soldier list, there's the usefull option to sort them by many category (name, rank, skills, etc...)
But i can only have them sorted them from the lower to the higher, it's a bit annoying when you have large soldier populations as you can have to scroll down a lot.
Is there any ways in OXCE to invert the sorting list (by example low rank to high rank -> high rank to low rank , low X skill to high X skill -> high X skill to low X skill, etc) like in most programs allowing sorting or is it not (yet) a feature ?

Yes.
Use Shift+click to sort in descending order.
PS: also Ctrl+click allows you to just show the stats, without sorting

Thank you very much !

I had another idea. Please make an option that would disable the sorting of soldiers in the list of soldiers and in the list of ship crews. So that when this option is activated, all the sorting buttons for soldiers disappear without a trace to hell! I'm tired of restoring order after accidentally pressing these buttons. I do not mean the arrows for moving through the list, of course. Only sort buttons.

Do not (accidentally!?) press buttons that you don't want to press.
I don't know what else to say.

Would like to be able to remove at will what is never used. These buttons only interfere with me.

Sorry to necro this thread, but this function seems to be broken at the moment on the 06-25-04 build.

There is no such thing as 06-25-04 build.
Please say clearly what are you using.

I'm not sure what the build number is. The download link doesn't list a version or anything, just the date of the latest nightly patch.

That would be 06-25-24 then, not 06-25-04.
Anyway, it's the OpenXcom download link and OpenXcom doesn't have this feature at all.
You need OpenXcom Extended: https://openxcom.org/forum/index.php?topic=5258.0
