Title: Suggestion: New Loss Ending

It always bugged me that the world Govts kill you for being too nice.
What if instead of the world govt/stargods killing you, it was a mutiny?

Simply the gals are greedy little bandits who want to earn money, and fame right?

So what do they do with a Captain who's too easy going? The gals replace her, to get one who's more adventurous, fun, and profitable.
This would be a better explanation as for why in two consecutive bad months everything falls apart.

Basically if you mess up one month the gals get together and tell their captain, you better not mess up again next month or else....
And if their captain fails/humiliates them enough they start their mutiny, during which who knows what happens, but one this is for sure it's game over.

The player "walking the plank" would be the perfect Game Over screen.

Yeah, but I think you would get the same ending if you lost because your last hideout was destroyed by a crackdown, which doesn't quite make sense.

Not a bad idea... there is difference between these 2 endings, but only as a single text screen if you were taken down due to low score / insufficient funds. Too bad because I'd happily add some 'player walks the plank' image.

The hideout being destroyed doesn't mean everyone died, it could be that you escaped or got captured.
A more generic text about how after a series of failures/humiliations the gang split apart or went their separate ways would make sense.

Like after the chaos that ensues (after losing all hideouts, or a mutiny) the surviving gals could force the ex-captain to walk the plank.

A gallows could work too, for any group after you.
