Title: Small request/advice for modders (due to Mod Portal issues)

Hello everyone (modders especially).

The OXC Mod Portal is malfunctioning again, and all I (and not only me) want
is to have additional abilities to download mod releases using alternative links
(file sharing, "clouds", etc.).

Almost every mod that is actively being developed is also being released in alternate venues (mediafire, google drive, dropbox etc.).  These alternate download links are almost always available in the first post of the Mod's Forum Thread.

Are you saying downloads aren't working either?

I just checked and it should be working but if you ran into issues post it here and I can notify Jo5hua about them on Skype

If you can, could you ask Jo5hua to check out my mod page (OpenXcom Extended)? Every time I try open it I get timeout.

The uploads and downloads are working again.
But you need to reupload the files which have not been working correctly.
Delete them and then reupload them, then it should work.

Files aren't problems, my page is. For couple of days I can't open it, and probably other people too, because I have very low number of download on recent uploads.
Today is working but is very possible that tomorrow will stop again.

As a user I get an HTTP timeout when trying to open any page on the mod portal 4 out of every 5 tries.  I've pretty much given up and just use the forum search instead.
