Was wondering if it was possible - sorry if that's a dumb question. Thanks!

This is an old post but my reply might help someone. It is possible to install x-piratez on Mac, I did it using Wineskin Winery, a program that wraps Windows files so that OS X can use them. It's a bit tricky but it will work in the end! For instructions on how to use Wineskin, see https://www.addictivetips.com/mac-os/how-to-run-windows-applications-on-mac-with-wine/
One can of course also use a virtual machine like Parallels to run Windows programs on OS X.
Cheers!
