Whenever I fire the smoke pellets from the Scout Drone, it instantly crashes the game.
EDIT: Not right when it shoots, but when the projectile impacts and creates smoke.
-
A crash like that is symptomatic of a missing sound file. Verify that its in the right location in the /resources/ folder.

Androids can't play .WAV files apparently, and the Scout Drone uses a .wav sound effect. Crap.
Nope.

Could someone convert the .WAV File or make the scout drone use the generic X-COM sounds?
EDIT: Also, it only crashes when it hits an object and creates smoke. Could someone make a version that can't shoot or something?

Doesn't openxcom have what it needs to read the file?
Also, if you don't fire, you shouldn't have the crash. Just takes a bit of self control.

I guess this report should be in the android support thread

check their hitsprite

What about reaction fire? Expend all Time Units doesn't work on Android since there is no right click, and the Scout Drone loves to reaction fire everything.
check their hitsprite
What about it?

make sure the hitanimation is 0 if it's an area-of-effect weapon

Hitanimation is 26. Set to zero, no crashes.
Thank you for helping. (Not sarcastic)
