Is there a way of applying a max range to thrown weapons like grenades?
I've tried maxRange: but it didn't work I assume it's only for weapons with firing modes.
Also is it possible to have a different throw weight compared to the real item so it's harder to throw?
-
1: make it heavier
2: correct
3: no, it's the same stat
-
I wonder what kind of item would have a different "throwing weight" than their mass?
Hey, I know: a balloon! :)
-
I mainly wanted to change the range all items could be thrown but I didn't want to increase the weight as this would make them encumbered and alter their movement range.
Is there a way to change the multiplier for the throw range or is this hardcoded?

But that would be... illogical at best.
Unless you're dealing with balloons. :)

nah, it's hardcoded.
