Title: [SOLVED] Location of OpenXcom configuration file in Linux

Hello there, just trying to install and play the game eith a mod...but cannot locate the configuration file! Please, would you tell me where it is? thanks!!

Assuming you're on Linux, it should be in your $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/openxcom folder.

However, with 1.0 you no longer need to edit the .cfg file to use mods, you can just enable them in-game from the Options > Mods screen.

Thanks, in fact i'm on linux,  ;D but i cannot find in the file system (i'm very incompetent at computers) please would you post the path?

EDIT: sorry, forgot to mention 've disabled xdg directoryes!! Shall I have to enable them?

If you don't have XDG, it will probably be somewhere in your Home user folder, inside a .config/openxcom subfolder (note that these are normally invisible in file explorers, so you might have to type in the path manually or access it through command-line)
