Are you talking about v0.9 or the nightly build?

0.9; is there a nightly build patch that fixes the battlescape scrolling?

hey, the scrolling thing is fixed for me now, but i notice that the explosion animations are really slow. im able to adjust the speed of the projectiles, but the explosions themselves seem about half the speed of vanilla xcom. is that an option that can be edited under advanced game options? because if it is i couldnt find it

Try disabling the FPS limit in the Advanced Options, if that doesn't help we'll look into it.

setting FPS to 0 has made it slightly less noticeable, but it still seems slower than vanilla. am i the only one who has this issue?

The thing is, there really is no accepted "speed" for Vanilla X-Com. It all depended on how fast your computer was. Every animation in the game relied on it. If you computer was faster, the explosions were faster, and vice-versa. My guess is you had one of the faster computers.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind if they were sped up a little bit so that they weren't a lot longer than the explosion sound
