Hello,
Did anyone else ever own this game?
I came across it in a discount bin once and found it to be a good substitute to Xcom but no where near as good.

Did anyone else enjoy this one?
I may dig it back out for another play :P

i remember this ,it looked awesome back then.. only played the demo version tho, but watched the whole thing in lets play... imo very underrated game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lubyi79e6SY
edit: and it has kinda this feeling where x-com would have been failed, and now fight continues in overtaken earth with resistance.

I'm watching it now, thanks. It looks very interesting. I might get it if it's on gog. I like what the guy said, that you should let your units rest after a mission instead of using them again for another mission. Should add that feature to OpenXcom. Reduced stats for tired operatives. I want it!

Absolutely underrated game.
I had it years ago and stumbled upon it once more when looking for X-com remakes(nothing beats the origional now it's on win7, though!), and couldn't find a decent download.
Weeks looking through old CD's until I found it again. Plays much better than i remember now that it has a patch.
I love the mutated look and apocalyptic feel it creates, random maps work well, soldier training, research, item production, weapons the whole lot it not too bad for it's age. Real/turm based action must be utilized, making battle slow when at it's peak. And let's not mention the lacking AI..
It would be great to remake this title, a feat i know, but I like the general look of the game. I wouldn't touch the new X-com spinoffs with a bargepole!
If your having trouble finding the game, message me
