Currently, when you select a target or event for interception and click the "intercept" button to choose a craft to send to that point, there's no indication of which crafts are capable of reaching that location or not.
This is annoying when you need a vessel to refuel and are unsure if it has refueled enough to reach the target. You can already check if it can reach by selecting its hanger instead and viewing the range circle indicator, but this is a bother when determining who to send to a crash, event, or other static location - instead of being able to do everything from the location you zip to when the event occurs or from the 'T' menu, you have to go to your hanger, select the craft, view the circle, then navigate back to the destination to see if it can reach.
It'd be more useful if vessels that can't reach the target location with their current fuel were grayed out on the intercept screen, or otherwise indicated somehow. Whatever calculation is used for the "max range" circle on the map could be reused here, hopefully.
Obviously this would be more useful when intercepting static things and not enemy UFOs in motion, so perhaps it would only apply to "intercepting" static things like crashes, enemy bases, or events - the game can't really tell you if it would actually be able to reach a flying UFO, of course. But even then, knowing which vessels have enough fuel to reach its current location might be useful.
The grayed out vessels could still be selected if the player wants (necessary if it applies to moving UFOs, since ofc if the UFO is moving towards them they might still reach.)
