If this is the wrong area I apologize, I don't see a suggestions/request/info area
1) Super minor nitpick, but the artifact called "Criminal Record", would "Criminal Ledger" but more appropriate? I'm under the impression that the record is like a crimes syndicate black book that lists some of their accounting info, so turning into law enforcement would give a small bonus, but "Criminal Record" looks like it gives info on criminals like the dossiers, on 1st glance.
2) Would it be possible to let missions end when Earth dogs are still running around? I can understand Salvage Corps not wanting to get involved if aliens or mutants are roaming about, but surely they have some form of animal control they can muster.
3) Why do Black Lotus Party missions start with the team in the lobby? Maybe the game play is too much of a campfest if they're on the roof, but the lobby can also be very campy. I suspect a good compromise would be to start with team on the roof and baddies at 1/3 count, with a 1/3 reinforcement activated when the team gets to the first floor, and 1/3 activated when they get to the basement, and maybe a superstar NPC(reskinned Lo Wo?) that they have to find and arrest to encourage moving about.
4) Would it be possible to get research Strange Life Alert briefings to include hints about what kind of monster might be faced, such as adding in "Keyword: [webs], [victims drained of blood], [victims melted by acid], [tufts of white hair], [victims partially eaten], [howling heard in vicinity]" etc
The justification would be a result of Xcom monitoring the League of Concerned Citizens, so with a prerequisite being Cyber Investigations + League of Citizen Organization (learned by researching a Citizen), Xcom is granted extra insight into keeping up with rumors on the internet, while they're keeping tabs on the League.
In conclusion, please send help I can't stop playing this game.

Perhaps. I'm not a native English speaker, so I need to act on instinct. More feedback on this would be nice.

Nope, I don't think so, sorry.

I don't really buy camping in the lobby. You can camp the small rooms, but my experience suggests it's not that easy nor safe. And on the other hand, sometimes it's a necessity.
I suspect a good compromise would be to start with team on the roof and baddies at 1/3 count, with a 1/3 reinforcement activated when the team gets to the first floor, and 1/3 activated when they get to the basement,
Reinforcements can be set on a specific turn (including 0), or a random turn from a selected range... they can't magically appear because the player went somewhere, shot a specific weapon, or sneezed. :P
and maybe a superstar NPC(reskinned Lo Wo?) that they have to find and arrest to encourage moving about.
I could add one more special character, but I think one is enough... Then again, if there's a demand, I can add something...

It would be possible, but my intention was to make the players unsure of what the enemy is before visual confirmation.

I know the pain! :>

1) In that case then, "Criminal Ledger" would be more appropriate, "Black Market Ledger" would get the point across more clearly but has more characters.
2) re: Dogs, I mean when all the higher ups are taken care of and the dogs are running in circles panicking. If that answer is no, then oh well
3) Sorry I mean camping in general, I suspected the starting location was meant to cut down on camping but I ended up camping like crazy in the side rooms. I've gotten it down to a science, and the same basic strategy is handy for base defense.
These were some idle thoughts on how to possibly cut down on camping, like a MacGuffin-type goal that the player has to work towards, either in the form of a VIP or an item the player must find to prod us out of our hidey-holes and walking around.
EDIT: I got it! If the mission is not resolved after 30 turns, police/counter terrorist reinforcements show up, and every 10 turns after that, indefinitely. This can be both motivation for the player to hurry up and finish the mission or run away, AND also allow us to fight the police, which I don't believe has been an option in this game thus far.
4) Fair enough, I think after a certain but relatively brief point the weapon selection can advance enough the player gets access to Jack-Of-All-Trade weapons that its not hugely important to carefully balance the loadout, before Promotion III even. Plus this would depend on getting League missions early enough, which would be entirely random.

Criminal record - it depends what do you want that item to mean exactly.
Allow me to overexplain ;D
"Criminal Record" is basically a proper noun that means "a goverment-made record of a person's known criminal activity"
example: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChiefKeef/comments/jn7gj9/the_amazing_criminal_record_of_mr_keef/#lightbox
Somebody with a history of crime known to authorities "has a criminal record" ("figuruje w kartotece karnej")
Somebody with no history of crime known to authorities "has a clean criminal record" or "has no criminal record". ("nie figuruje w kartotece karnej").
Best solution - if I understand your intention - would be to rename it into something that still informs the player that this thing contains criminals' personal data, just not "government-made" personal data. Ledgers are kinda generic in this case.
EDIT: synonyms for personal data, may bring some inspiration - personal information · personal details · personally identifiable information · private information · personal records · personal info
EDIT2: "CRIMINAL'S DATA" - as in "data of/about a criminal - that IMHO would be a good name - simple, generic, but still rather clear in terms of its use or purpose.

Yeah that's what I was getting at, I confused this for a Secret File (the item that gives the people of interest dossier information) for a few moments before figuring it out, I think calling it "Criminal Ledger" gets the point across that it's data their bookie or accountant or whomever is using it for money laundering, gambling and protection debts and so on. "CRIMINAL'S DATA" or "CRIMINAL'S BLACKBOOK" can also work.

Fiiiine, I changed it to Ledger. ;D
Regarding changes to the Party terrain, I think it's fine as is. Sure, you can (and probably should) camp it, but there are not many missions like these.

As long as we are nitpicking text changes;
STR_CEREAL_CULT_DESCRIPTION: "A strange order insinuated itself into a peaceful village, turning the locals against us."
It doesn't really makes sense that Xcom beeing a secret organization would care about what some random village thinks about it.

I imagine the "us" is the government in general, since next step is to get more participants in illegal arms deals, riot/rampaging and who knows what else. To be honest I ignore these missions since they don't really seem to lead anywhere, but maybe it's not a finished story line yet. I don't think the Red Barn lore is in the game as a mission yet, but with the addition of Dark Ones it might be in soon.
