Title: Quick Question on TFTD
Post by: Charly1 on October 21, 2024, 04:58:57 am
Does installing the TFTD files in the OXCE folder change the content?

I remember playing (I think back on version 2.6). I think I completed the underwater missions but there were not many missions in total. I was wondering if there is missing content based on not having TFTD in the installation folder.

Thinking of coming back to the game. My current game is Jan 2000. I have only 36% of the research, and am up to Martian Solution and Space Flight, so I am not sure how much more content there is.

I think I completed Dimension X and The underwater stuff... No sure about the underworld. Just looking at the amount of stuff I have researched though... that must be 100 hours at least.

No, XCF (or any other X-Com 1 mod) does not use TFTD files at all, it uses its own versions of TFTD files. Therefore installing TFTD won't make any difference for your XCF experience.
