Title: Fireextinguisher

Trying to get into the mod, but kinda fail to understand.
Fire extinguisher is doing 40 choke damage. So for most people they have 400% choke res, so they'll be taking 160 damage at 100% accuracy.
Does that mean that Fire Extinguisher is the best weapon for silent takedown?

The fire extinguisher uses the same damage formula that fire uses, which restricts the damage to 5-10. It also has a 0% health damage modifier and a 60% stun damage modifier, which combined with the 4x multiplier for choke damage on humans means they will take 12-24 stun damage from each attack.

Not terrible at stunning, but with how much TU it costs to attack and the limited range you're better off using it for its intended purpose: extinguishing people that are on fire.

The extinguisher has two very niche uses: capturing shadowbats alive without overstunning them (I think essentially all other forms of capture tend to overstun and eventually kill them) and reducing target TUs (a very poor man's version of pepper spray). Yes, they are very marginal cases. Too bad chempistol with extinguisher tanks (which is actually a superior fire extinguisher equipment) has so weak stun damage that you can't use it to capture shadowbats.
