why does a General Stores hold 65 and not 50?
because the starting base is 40 + 11 aircraft = 51?

40 50
x = 51*50/40=63,75

general stores only holds 50, not 65
additional 15 comes from 3 hangars
that way the available free space in a new base is closer to OG

Well, 15% of gals certainly don't sleep in their arnour, so it's got to go somewhere. Gnomish bags of holding? :D

Well, in Piratez, once you remove large armor, such as tanks or armored cars, suddenly I get the base store overflow screen.
So in effect these soldiers sleep in their tanks, or bring their cars to bed :)

maybe it is better to add one "Starting General Stores 65" instead of buffing all General Stores in the game from 50 to 65

No, this need be in hangar as storage difference is because of how OXCE handle crafts weapons.
Beside hangar as build is fine to store anything by definition (as it can easy store whole craft with all hardware need to support it).
If you do not like it, make mod and change it.

HANGARS in OXCE have 5 storage

so OXCE have General Stores 50 + 3*5 Hangars = 65
and 2 General Stores + 3 Hangars = 50+50+15 = 115
I got it, was wrong
