Title: Turn off mods other way then in game?

Hi, just stupid question, Is it any different way to turn off mod other than in game? I turn mod on and game crashes with launch, so is any straight forward simple way to turn off problematic mods?
I can wipe out game and reinstall, but I'm wondering if it is necessary?

You can turn mods off also by modifying the options.cfg file.
