Is there a way to view a list of all possible random events?
-
Onle in the rul file afaik.
-
I'm trying to find the text for whatever event it is that gives you a live chupacabra, but I can't seem to find it
-
Are you sure such an event exists? The closest I know are
- The Immortalist, which gives you a dead one;
- Freak Show, which gives many other live cryptids, but not Chupacabras;
- and Random Land Survey, which has a tiny chance of yielding a Chupacabra.
What version are you playing?
-
I'm playing the current one, I just started out and don't have Land Surveys. It's a live chupacabra, I haven't encountered them on missions.
-
In that case, I don't know. There's nothing in the ruleset I can find to indicate anything could give you Chupacabras besides missions and Land Surveys.
I suppose we'll have to wait for Solarius to say what it might be, unless you can add more details than just 'an event that gave me a Chupacabra'. Like, did you have to process something in the workshop, did the critter arrive 'in the mail', anything?
Is the 'current one' 2.5, or are you perhaps using the Github version, so partial 2.6? Are you using any other mods? I took a brief look at Arsenal Additions, and that one doesn't seem to have free Chupacabras, either.
-
It's 2.5
I'm not sure what the event was, but all I can think of is that an event must have given it to me without me noticing. If it came in the mail, it must have been at the same time as a shipment of guns and ammo without me seeing, I checked my items and noticed that I suddenly had a live chupacabra. The only creatures I've seen thus far have been werewolves and snakes.
-
And you haven't fought the Syndicate or had a civilian stun the only Chupacabra on the map, or something similar?
Can you post your save?
-
There is no way to get live chupacrabas outside of specific missions or events - both of which you say you haven't encountered - unless something buggy is going on.
Yes, the save file in question might be helpful.
-
How do I post a save file?
-
When you post a reply, below the text input field you'll find something titled "Attachments and other options".
