0.99N.6.0.7,not properly a bug, bug govt agents and military ploce should not be supposed to wield sabres (pirate weap?) adn hunting rifles (civ weap?) don't know about the razor, but spartans often carry these, not sure about govt agents with these

It's your opinion. They are quite capable of using them properly.

As long as the old inventory pile system still works, I see no problem if a modder wants to divest the player of all their extra equipment during battle for some reason.

Geoscape is RTS-with-no-pause for a reason. The option is only available if interception oversea (TFTD: overland) is impossible. This is also for a reason. I know not everyone likes RTS, but such is Xcom's philosophy, therefore the proposed change certainly shouldn't be forced but optional.

don't know if its a feature, but one enemy in the Vampire castle spawned in a not reachable area,

had to kill it by editing...

Impossible to see anything on these pictures. Please provide better evidence than a couple of blurred minimap screencaps. I cannot read your mind, so I cannot find the bug.

If you choose to do aerial transfer, you don't need to have required pilots in craft. This should never be allowed, as it leads to all sorts of secondary bugs (eg. teleporting pilots to craft in-flight if you change the transfer order to patrol when ship is airborne).

So is there something I should know when building my bases to avoid this bug? Are they trying to path to a specific tile that I'm blocking somehow?

No idea dude, it is you who managed to do that first. Only you can know the secret (another explanation could be very low computer specs, I guess?).

The functions to 'sell everything' and 'sell everything but 1 of each item' are not only near-useless (I cannot ever imagine a situation when I would want to sell everything or everything but 1 item each from a base, and I have never encountered such need in 30 years of playing XCOM), but actually detrimental to gameplay, since their hotkeys (Z and X) are situated right next to CTRL and ALT buttons, which you use to sort base inventory by size or price. That way it is easy to accidentally sell everything you have on your base by the means of a slight finger slip, meaning the need to replay two missions on average (because that's the usual amount of time before you notice what happened), which is both a major distaste and a lot of real life time wasted.

There should be at least a confirmation popup when these functions are activated from the basescape, ie. when you press one of these hotkeys, 'are you sure you want to mark [everything / everything but 1 item each] for sale on your base?'.

yeah, the dogfightstate is beyond help
it's not possible to maintain or extend it anymore without a complete rewrite

anyway, I checked where I could move this function to always trigger, but I haven't found a single suitable place
I will move it outside of this class, but it will be at a cost:

a/ it will be called not only for HKs, but for all UFOs
b/ I will change the evac defaults from 100% to 0% (for OG/OXC compatibility), so mods that don't specify them explicitly (including XPiratez) will break... and will have to add the desired values in the next version explicitly

Just please give me a heads-up for this.

I wish this kind of thing happened to me just once in the 100s of base defenses so I could finish a base defense in 2 turns lol! But no, they are always swarming, which can be quite !fun! if defenders are thin :) Zesty must have been born under some unholy lucky star or has a real talent to Hideout construction that causes such unheard of behaviour :)

I think the issue had finally been nailed. These bugs MIGHT appear in mid-late game for everyone, so here's simple solution-

Remove from Piratez_Planet.rul three lines with this command, looking like this:
    missionRegion: STR_NORTH_AMERICA

OK thanks, I've tried the option of removing MEGASCORPION_ARMOR from Piratez_Events.rul, we shall see if it works. I know this problem definitely didn't exist in 6.0.2 so I wonder what happened, but it's just skipping some research so no matter.

It did not exist because the event causing it did not exist yet, it was added in 6.0.3. It was I think definitely fixed in 6.0.7.

Lil thought: s of 0.99N6.07 i'd swap the bootyopedia pics for "rank: boss" and "rank: big boss" botypedia articles since the former is more of a "macho" type and seems to suggest a more powerful reputation.

I wouldn't. Big Boss moves beyond 'just a bigger gal with more complete clothing' and shifts the rank picture gradation towards flashiness, wealth and technology. Badass captain outfit, for one, and a laser gun. As for any 'machismo' it's only your interpretation. Ofc the anime style is debatable, but there are sevaral ranks above that still.

Thanks for the fix of the Rod. Green lighter behaviour is intended (he gets baked), the only way to keep him afloat would be to use a weapon that removes stun (NOT medikit).
