I noticed whilst working on this little overhaul (https://www.openxcom.com/mod/xcom-2012-death-sounds) that Chryssalids have a unique 'aggroSound' entry. Anyone have any idea what it's for?

It's a sound played when Chryssalid spots his next victim. Currently OpenXCom seems to be using only one sound for Chryssalid aggro and death.

After a quick test, it seems that the sound is limited to the Chryssalid. Even if added to other aliens, they don't play any extra sounds on sighting a target.

it's a melee thing.

Ah. Shame. Although depending on how it works I imagine it could get irritating pretty quickly.
