Hello
I like this project so much, I am thinking about contributing.
Nothing big at first, maybe some new monster or map or two.
How difficult is it and how do I start?
(I have 0 modding experience, had done some basic Python coding and map-making with editors in Heroes2 and Incarnate)

Hello dear modmaker, here is some stuff I think will make this awesome project even more so:
More mid/ late - game enemies, include:
Doom – Cyber daemon (powerful kick, rocket launcher with 2-3 shots per round)
Doom – mancubus (heavy flamer, grenade launcher with napalm ammo)
Megapol – police mech/droid http://www.theoldrobots.com/images27/ED209-2.JPG
Chrysalid queen – resized tank-sized chrisalid with more armour and tank-crushing claws.
Cyber-mastiff as mid-late game useful upgraded doggo, similar as hellhounds are early-mid game upgrade to the dog. Like robo-parrots.
Up-scaled versions of animals for more challenging late-game primal hunts. Tank-sized spider queen, rad scorpion and such, with lots of hp, some armour and high aggression parameter so it doesn’t loiter under fire but charges into melee.

Enemy equipment modifications:
Lobstermen should not be randomly equipped with weak missile weapons: as it stands now, lobstermen hang back and shoot ineffectually doing nothing to even midgame armour, instead of rushing forth to use their mighty claws.
Stormrats are interesting concept, but by the time they appear, their pistols are useless crap, and they don’t pose any danger despite their toughness.

Need help
My base is keep being bombarded by Technocracy missile swarms.
I try to build defenses, but they are bombed out of existence before they finish building; PREDATOR interceptors i send can't catch up with the missile swarms.
What are my options? is technocracy just game mechanic to reign in my recent success, o are there missions I should research to stop their annoying missiles and super-interceptors coming?

I've raided UAC vault recently and was very surprised.
Instead of interesting story mission battle with cool loot, it was a dungeon slog shooting slime-things. thats it. no interesting opponents, researchable loot or  rare tech or anything.
Is this normal or some sort of bug??

I have to mention that depending on single fire pit for defence is somewhat riskey, as firepits are disabled by strong explosions inside their corridors, so an enemy exploding inside may clear the way for others to pass through

I bumped into a problem when sending Hunt party to a Primal Hunt:

Primal hunt description says hyena riders can participate, and rightly so as I can hardly imagine something more stone age AND hunting than nude beast riding chicks ;)
Problem is, Hunt party doesn't allow crew to equip Hyena rider (presumably because it's big unit and Hunt party doesn't allow those).

Any solutions?

1/ Quickest way is to install piratez fresh to a new destination and copy your saved game
2/ Also a quick option is to just manually downgrade OXCE
3/ You can try fixing validation errors, but that's probably too slow and need a lot of support

4/ if you want you can also upgrade piratez version... the newest one is compatible with newest OXCE

Hello, I need some assistance I'm afraid
I was using older mod version (v.M1 29-Aug-2021) since i started some time ago, and today I was uncircumspect and pressed "update open xcom" button in main menu, and now xpiratez don't load. loading screen shows error:

Is there a way to roll it back or otherwise rescue my game progress? (or install the last piratez version on top of old one, if that won't conflict with old version's saves)

Another thing:
If during alien attack on my hideout, hangar is damaged (much explosives, nukes), (after I win the fight) will craft assigned to that hangar be destroyed, or forced to relocate to another hideout (and what happens if there are no free hangars in other hideouts)?
I have to decide whenever I should continue the fight or load pre-assault save, as I could not bear to loose the codex craft assigned to that hangar, and the fight will take some few hours IRL  to conclude (time which i don't want to waste if i have to load to save said craft anyway).

Actually if they can destroy tank obstacles in ninja fortress they can be vital in such sieges since fusion torch takes to much time to use.

I'm desperate about ninja fortresses btw, i just dont have a feel of unlimited POWAH no matter what i unlock.
Even with tanks, i might get through the first stage, but I have no idea what lurks in second.
It's nightmare of tunnels and lifts down there. Ideal terrain for ninjas to slice your troops. Expect heavy losses.
But I have beaten it when I had only Loaders, Heavy and Demolisher suits for armour and cars for hwp.
(Granted, I did use like 4 Red dragon nukes, 2 to level above ground fortifications and 2 more to thin the ninja horde in the underground tunnels.)

Hi guys, a strategy question:
How do you use mechas (if you do at all, i mean)?
You get to build them after you get to build tanks, but they are less sturdy than tanks, and with weaker weapons.
So what's the point?

In may 2601 still do not have a workshop, but im ground assaultin a guild ship, the month before jack warned about ninja expansin, score is dropping down, hope i can survive next month before i fail...
I see some improved graphics - you use some extra mod?
