when i convert from ufo to tftd i have problems it works but at the cost of messing up
-
These two games use completely different palettes. You would need to edit that too (save UFO tilesets in TFTD palette).

like how

First of all, why would you want to convert UFO terrain or assets to TFTD? You plan to do TFTD Hybrid modding?
-
tbh open xcom exteneded cause problems to my openxcom i ive made a mode of the slayer which is a recolor of the intercepter that is green i made it for both
no not for hybrid i wish ther is a hybrid mod that supports normal open xcom
-
Normal openxcom doesn't have enough feature to support a full hybrid. Has to be OXCE.

Like extract the pck into a png sheet with Volutar's MCDEdit, then modify the graphics in some graphic editor, and then putting the new data back in the. Pck.
I can give it a tty if you like, assuming I can find TFTD palettes - I never tried this before.
-
What Solarius was trying to say is, it is a lot of work. You can save yourself a lot of work by just jump to OXCE and download a Hybrid mod from the OXCE forum. It has the best of both world, both UFO and TFTD.

No, I wasn't trying to say this. Because it's complete bullshit.

Maybe, from my side, I done similar work. This involved extraction, editing and some experimentation involved. This take time. Especially editing.
Then as quote
assuming I can find TFTD palettes - I never tried this before.
You have to find the TFTD palettes. Searching also take time. Time consuming? Yes. Work? Yes.
For a new modder, it is hours of tinkering to get it right. I know this myself, because it happened to me. If you want to go for it.. by all means.
I showing him the easy way with my Hybrid mod having all the work done already.

mcd edit i got covered i was thinking about like a lite version of the hybrid mod
i usally place my Openxcom extened.exe in my openxcom directory
