Suggestions / Squad select screen info

On the squad select screen instead of having space used info, have how many HWP units are selected and on the far right of space used (over craft) have how many soilders are selected. Or vice versa. This can make things less complicated when having a mixed batch of soilders and HWPs selected to know how many exactly of each are on the drop ship. Hope this makes sense.

Interesting. But my problem seems to be more complex, since I don't play the game on a Windows OS. I'm playing the game on an android device using oxce. Anything similar for android users of the game?

Hi. I find this interesting. I play the PS1 version of xcom ufo defense alone for the reason of the comfort of using a gamepad instead of a mouse. I was wondering if you made a oxce version of your work yet, using a gamepad or analog sticks?

Purest get triggered, but I would like it if openxcom ufo defense could be controlled with a gamepad instead of a keyboard and mouse input. I play the Playstation one for this feature alone more because of it. I personally think it is more comfortable, probably because I am more a console gamer than PC.

Is it possible to have an option for a Playstation gamepad layout to have its buttons mapped for certain functions? For example:

In the battlescape when standing over a soldier that just died it only reads corpse but when unconscious it does read name letting you know he/she is still alive. Well who the heck died??? How about it reading something like this instead, for example:

Johnny Davis (C)    Meaning dead (corpse)
Johnny Davis  (U)   Meaning  unconscious

Hmmm? Does vanilla xcom ufo defense have a hit option? I don't recall ever seeing  one.

 Reload option underneath firing modes. Just like pressing R on the keyboard  when you need to reload your empty gun. Example:

Aimed Shot
Snap Shot
Auto Shot
Throw
Reload  <------ of course only appears once you have empty gun and have a spare clip in your inventory.
