I just attacked a cult convoy landing site in Trinidad, and the map is the surface of Mars with pyramids

I haven't seen that, but a few days ago I had a literal moonscape when I shot down a snakeman terror-ship over the Azores.  I was trying to get it to crash into the sea actually and it was luck that it hit an island!  There was no crashed ship on the map though, just snakeys and a few chrysalids wandering around the moon.

Is this with newest mod and OXCE version? IIRC these terrains are fallbacks in cases where no actual globe terrain data is defined. Might want to report this in the bug thread.

Sorry, what was the mission exactly? Was it Cult Infiltration?

I'm trying to pinpoint the problem.

I've seen the same issue before in X-Piratez, with UFOs landing on Hawaii.

Unfortunately I don't remember how exactly he fixed it.

This generally means that missions happen where they shouldn't (out in the sea). The Mars terrain is a last resort fallback.

Now the question is, what exactly went wrong. And I'm afraid I'll need a save for this; it's important to know all the details (mission data).
