I love the idea of this mod and I so want to enable it on mine. A couple of questions.

1 - Do I need to start it with a new game or can I enable it on an existing game and let it keep track from then?

2 - Does it work with the latest nightly? (I am using nightly from September)

Likely lack of bigOb for Reapers' bite-weapon, or outdated ruleset for it.

Interesting. When I didn't try to select the reaper, the game continued without a hitch.

Completed Xeno Mod. Cydonia was tough. Not to gonna say more than that. I think this is the longest time I have spent on the Cydonia level (I am yet to complete XPiratez).

PS Where is the frozen map? I was looking forward to that.

GOT a CTD. I got a PSI-AMP. Went on a mission versus the floaters who had reapers. Tried to mind control a reaper. The game showed that it was successful. When I try to select the Reaper, the game CTD.

Research times are long. I love the armors though but there are a lot of alien artefacts. Interesting mod.

Still tinkering.

Got some nice stun weapons. I made a really awesome hit animation for them before I realized that shooting weapons with stun explode. :( Maybe I can make a cool electrical style explosion for them. Still not really sure where I stand on releasing this beast. I am working on the final edits for my book, so that is going to monopolize my time and it gets priority since it might make me some money.


Add the below line. It removes explosions. I found it out when experimenting on creating a portable stun pistol.

Nice Mod. I have tried to limit applying my cheats to it - apart from modified soldier stats and money. Apart from that I like the look of the XOPs uniform and the different camos. Lovely!!

Hmm... the same suspect building as in many crashes before. I'll have to upgrade this to Hobbes' latest terrain version (once 0.8 redux comes out). Alternatively, the crash was caused by your cheats, but that's less likely. Also I don't have your cheat-mods so replicating some bugs will be impossible (this seems not to be the case here, though).

Doubt it is any of my additions...

I finally got around to researching power armor and wow! That inventory picture is awesome! Really like it! But on the battlefield, I'm not sure why the gal's armor is all rusty? I didn't like that, so I decided to recolor the sprite and corpse images to a closer match (steel grey/blue).

Only problem is.. for some reason the corpse sprites don't show up and the game still uses the brown/orange ones..?! Couldn't figure it out, so I decided I'd put it up here and see if anyone can fix it! Also attached a pic of the corpse picture, as a preview.

Could you upload the mod used for the alt power armour.

Finally I got to get to Mars

So after a few more in-game months the dice roll spawned not one but two Cruisers with Star God Coordinators plus a base, all within a short month.

Capturing the first cruiser's SGC caused me some of my best troops to get badly injured, but in those long months I had the chance to maxout several gals across all bases so replacements were available. The other battles were plain destruction, no prisoners taken :) It took some base management to get the Conqueror building within reasonable time limits (less than a month or so, in one of my printer bases).

The battle after landing on Mars was fairly easy. Blasters plus Chinese Dragons made quick work on those open spaces outside the Conqueror. Note that the ship is not so blast proof as the Bonny, so careful aim with the Dragon or the gals still inside can die from the shock wave, or so it appears. :p

Funny the Conqueror has those escape hatches on the top level near some bunk beds. Nice detail!

Then it was the moment to go into the brain level. The last unit was killed (see attached game). Then deployment and start of a turn. A game re-load gave me an error I observed before also on other mods, which is upon reloading the game before the end of the first turn, all the soldier's guns are emptied (no magazines, ammo, etc). It was frustrating as I have to restart from the surface again. To replicate this from the save game, just kill the last unit, next screen and once deployed, save and reload. The ammo is gone! I don't know why it happens or if recent nightlies have fixed the problem.

For the last level I suggest get some inspiration from the Brain Level of Hellrazor's Hardmode mod. The 10x10 map is really difficult, more like an endurance race than a quick deployment. This is as the current 6x6 is easy, just scout for the Brain chamber and blast away.

Well, it was fun to play the mod. I'm sure I'll reply again in a couple of updates down the road.

:o I have none of those things.. my brainerz are barely getting back to school! But it's good to know that there are improvements coming along :D

Dont worry there are a lot of them. 3 years in with 45 brainers... I am just getting HIGHER STUDIES!!

Got a wierd one at end of month. The confederation has embraced a zero tolerance policy!

WTF is that ,, All my protection money gone from that region .. Achtung!

EDIT: oh right, you modded it so your gals have stats like 1500+ TUs. No wonder something broke. With 110/110 psi stats, your max psi attack strength is like, 242, allows to easily MC tanks.
