Does anyone bother using the version with the ballistic shield? I pretty much always just go with 2 handed weapons

I just got this mission, but I seem to remember reading on this board that you aren't supposed to get this until after you've done an asylum mission (which I still haven't ever seen). Is this a bug?

For some reason, the small shotgun can be concealed, but the sawed-off can't. That seems like an oversight

In the new version, it seems like the Safehouse/Outpost/etc. maps are just random maps with a bunch of cultist enemies, sometimes with no buildings whatsoever. Why is that? I remember they used to always have the safehouse/outpost located on the mission map, sometimes with missile racks inside them that you could blow up.

I researched Blackops Industries contact, and I can research acquisition for rifles/pistols/SMGs etc. but I still can't get spy pistols. What do I have to research to unlock them? Is it a Blackops Premium weapon?
