Issue description
i'm using the latest Nightly (2014-09-21 00:48) also final mod pack 0.94 and HQsound

got control of a Salamandron Terrorist inside a ship and for unknown reasons the FoW does not update/clears for this unit ... here is a save game file https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1QB577IyTZbUUhNS1pRb1RyT0k/edit?usp=sharing

in previous tunrs i got control of another salamandron (was in the vicinity of my ship) and the fog cleared for that unit
Steps to reproduce this issue
  • load my save game
  • unit should be selected for which it does not work
  • look around and FoW does not clear for this unit inside the ship


if the tank outside the ship enters it works as normal for the tank

Most probably it's a FMP problem. Recommended addressing to mod author.

that's from the FMP mod author
That's interesting, but I don't think I did anything that would cause problems here. The Salamandron is a unit like a Reaper... there shouldn't be any difference. Maybe it's an engine glitch after all?

It is mod issue. Obviously there are differencies, and lot of them between reaper and "glitching" mod-creature. I don't like to say that mod author is not quite enough qualified to make mods. At least before bugreporting and pointing to "engine glitch" he should double, triplecheck his modded values, not to multiply falsereports.

no idea what a salamandron is, but it's clearly a bugged mod. unit height should not go above 24. FOV calcs have been capped indoors
