Nice work, Duke! Actually, a superb one. I like how it blends traditional and digital tools, and is overall just pretty.
I'd only remove the dirt spots with Photoshop (on white background). I think they don't look too good.

DA version with background has no such spots. Layer transparency literally eliminate them if proper layers are used.
Follow the link and it will look far better. Without free beer, of course, and strange, alien ketchups...

Wow, a background.
Not a bad one, but I think it clashes with the Floater... Him being cartoonish, and the background is photorealistic.
I'd use a monochrome background, but not white. Blueish grey maybe?

Love the eyes on the alien in the op. Some great pics in here. How do you guys make such cools pics? What software do you use?

Most of things here were just found on the net, unless specifically said otherwise. Actual artists here are NeoWorm and Duke Falcon (hopefully I haven't forgotten anyone).
