I've been allowed an opportunity to have my own sub-forum, and even got a moderator status! Yay! Look at my awesome blue rank :) From now on, all things piratey please go here.

Piratez unite!
I've been with this mod from its humble beginning (some of you might remember that YouTube material we made with Dioxine over a year ago) and I'm very happy to see the community grow. Can't wait what's in store for the future!

Wewt! PirateZ Glory!!
Edit: Some ideas for threads:
Strategy Hints and Tips
BootyPedia collaboration thread

Your original mod merit a dedicated showcase
congratulations :D

I posted some hints/tips on Reddit/xcom and we'd have to delve into both pirate threads to sift through all the tips there too.
Here's some wiki stuff (https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=User:DracoGriffin/Sandbox/Piratez)

I think that old piratez tread should go there too.

Feel free to open new threads for tips, wishlists or otherwise, I just reserve the right to rename them if I feel like it needs to be done :)

When an article shows up, I'll deal with that.
Though frankly, I'm not sure if everything shouldn't just be moved to Draco's wiki...

@ Solarius/Draco :)
The Bootypedia is a wonderful thing! I agree we should focus the efforts on one place. Ufopedia.org makes a lot of sense, because its already the home for OpenXcom stuff. Also, its easier on the browser due to less intrusive ads, etc. But where ever it goes, I'm in full support. :)
-
I'm, for one, for concentrating on Ufopedia.org, as it works a LOT faster (even with adblock, it takes many seconds to refresh), is far more stable (seeing new stuff doesn't require purging browser's cache), and DracoGriffin already made a large headway into it, the main page looks really neat.
-
I'm just way more comfortable with UFOpaedia MediaWiki and layout; plus a lot of stuff can just be "borrowed" from the other subwikis (Long War has great ones). Lot of it is just troubleshooting and trying to get a decent layout.
Anyone can feel free to jump in: it's in my User Sandbox which allows all kinds of crazy things that don't necessarily have to follow the "UFOpaedia article conventions" until moved into its own subwiki, then needs to follow certain things (which I'm focusing on now so all left is just filling out the templates/duplicate info).
Biggest need is uploading decent images for all the pages (which I've listed in the source; .gif/.png isn't a big deal, whichever looks better).

Congratz Dioxine! Piratez be takin' over!
That's awesome to see :D You have created something special, with its own cult following. Well done!
-
Damn this new sub-forum makes me feel even worse for not getting around to trying Piratez yet. On the bright side it means I have had quite a lot of good gaming on my plate for the past while, and have quite a bit more for the forseeable futrue.
-
Congratulation on getting your own sub forum! Let the river flow with the blood of swabbies.
-
HURRAH!!
-
OK then Draco, I'll shut down the Bootypedia and help you with the content on Ufopedia.org.
Just... not this weekend, I'm going to the mountains to drink and play games. :)
-
Congrats on your own subforum!
-
Congratulation on being blue!
Like Yankes said, shouldn't the original Piratez thread be here as well though?
-
sorry for the noob question, but what if the sub forum for?, there are related stuff who can't be posted in the main MOd thread?
-
So you can spam it with topics, and it won't litter the general forum? I don't know :)
